I am scheduling interviews for an Occupational Therapist for a job opportunity near Port MacKenzie, Alaska. This position is for the duration of the upcoming school year, with a caseload consisting of Pre-K through 12th grade students with a wide range of disabilities. The majority of students on the caseload are in elementary school, with a small number of students in middle and high school. There is minimal daily travel between sites.
Our Occupational Therapist will be assigned the full scope of school-based OT responsibilities, including assessments and evaluations, development of IEP goals and treatment plans, multi-disciplinary collaboration, communicating with parents, and delivering direct therapeutic services.
Requirements include Alaska Occupational Therapist license, recent school-based experience, and strong skills in the areas of written and verbal communication, assessment and evaluation, goal and plan development, and therapeutic services.
